Department of Watershed Management Mascots Participate in Fundraiser Benefit
Captain Clean Stream, along with Chattie & Hooch, participated in the 10th annual Mascot Trot as part of the CVS Pharmacy Strong Legs Run, which benefits the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Child Care Fund. Mascots from schools, universities, companies and many of Atlanta's professional sports teams joined children in a fun run at Turner Field on November 14th. In addition, more than 3,000 runners hit the streets in a 10k run, 5k run/walk and 2k fun run to raise more than $150,000 for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Utoy Water Reclamation Facility Earns Major Performance Award
The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) will present the City of Atlanta with a Platinum Peak Performance Award, the highest honor it bestows, on July 15. The award recognizes the Utoy Water Reclamation Center (WRC) for 10 years' of compliance with federal water pollution standards.
