Water/Sewer Line Warranties

Several customers have received invitations from companies offering extended warranties on water and sewer lines. DWM is not affiliated with any of these companies or programs, and the Department neither supports nor opposes extended warranties. Customers should make their own decisions about extended warranties based upon thes state of their plumbing.

For example, if your plumbing is up to code, such a warranty may not make sense. If a home is more than 50 years old and the water/sewer lines have not been replaced, such a warranty might prove useful.
