J. Hebberd, Deputy Commissioner
Chris
Hebberd has recently joined the Department as Deputy Commissioner
for the Bureau of Drinking Water. Formerly general manager for a management
consulting firm providing executive level services for water and wastewater
utilities in Florida, Mr. Hebberd has over 30 years of experience
managing the engineering and operating functions of water utilities.
He formerly served as Chief Operating Officer for the Erie (PA.) Water
Works; and as Vice President for the Regional Water Authority in New
Haven, CT, where he managed the day-to-day operations of both utilities.
Mr.
Hebberd graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with
a degree in Civil Engineering and earned a certificate in Management
Development from the Harvard University, School of Business. He is
a professional engineer in several states in the U.S.
