Bureau of Program Performance

Services

The Bureau of Program Performance is responsible for providing the following services:

Strategic planning and performance management reporting for the Department of Watershed Management, consistent with city-wide strategic objectives and the ATL Stat program:

  • Long-term strategic planning -- vision, mission, values, objectives
  • Annual strategic initiatives, in support of long-term objectives and vision
  • Performance measures across the Department, consistent with City-wide ATL Stat program
  • Monthly performance management tracking and reporting

Site development policy and plan review in compliance with city codes for land development and post-development storm water management:

  • Site development plan review withing the building permit process -- land disturbing activities; erosion control; and post-development storm water management (multi-family/commercial)
  • Sewer capacity certification
  • Site development policy -- plan review checklists; hydrology studies for post-development storm water management; and compliance with applicable city codes and state laws

Implementing the sewer system inspection and rehabilitation program, in compliance with consent decree requirements and schedule:

  • Physical and video inspection of entire sewer system to identify structural deficiencies and wet weather infiltration and inflow, with completion of 2011
  • Improve sewer system reliability through systematic structural repair program, with completion of 2012

Manage the Program Management Team (PMT) contract for the Clean Water Atlanta initiative, to assure overall compliance with consent decree requirements and schedule.
