Metal Plates

Metal plates are used to cover street cuts and other open construction areas. They should adequately cover the opening and be properly placed so that the corners do not pose a threat to tires. Street plates should only be placed for the duration of the open cut. Once the work is complete, contractors remove the plates and repave the affected area of the streets. If you suspect a metal plate is improperly installed or remains long after work is completed, please call 404.624.0751 (you may dial 0752 through 0756 if busy).
