Southside Hydrant Flushing Could Cause Discolored Water
What: Discolored water because of hydrant flushing
Where: South of Cedar Grove Road between Cochran Mill Road and Roosevelt Highway
When: 9 am – 4 pm; beginning January 26, and lasting for one to two months
Comments: City crews will be flushing hydrants in South Fulton County as part of DWM’s three-year Valve and Hydrant Program to locate, map and exercise the City’s fire hydrants and water valves. During the flushing, customers may notice discolored water. The water is safe to drink.
