Benjamin E. Mays Drive to be affected by sewer work
What:Sewer rehab closes portion of Benjamin E. Mays Drive
Where:Benjamin E. Mays Drive between Laurelmont Drive and Braemar Avenue
When:9 am - 4 pm; Monday, November 30 – Tuesday, December 29
Comments:City crews are repairing sewer lines under Benjamin E. Mays Drive, requiring a detour around the work area. Traffic control officers and flaggers will be on site. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible. The street will be open to traffic in the evenings and over the weekend.
Detour Information:
Westbound:From Benjamin E. Mays Drive, go east to Laurelmont Drive, south on Laurelmont and west on Hollydale Drive. Go north on Braemar Avenue back to Benjamin E. Mays.
Eastbound:From Benjamin E. Mays Drive, go west to Braemar Avenue, south on Braemar and east on Hollydale Drive. Go north on Laurelmont Drive back to Benjamin E. Mays.
