Water Main Project To Affect Collier Road
What:Water main installation
Where:Collier Road between Ardmore and Dellwood drives
When:7 pm—5 am; Monday, July 12 - Friday, August 13; 9 am — 4 pm on Saturdays
Comments:City contractors are installing a water main on Collier Road, necessitating the closure of one lane of traffic. The work is being performed overnight to minimize disruption. The project, initiated at the request of Piedmont Hospital, will consist of connecting the existing 16-inch water main on the east side of the Collier Road Bridge to the 16-inch main on the west side of the bridge, installing a new 16-inch water main from the intersection at Dellwood Road to the bridge and installing a new 16-inch main from the east side of the bridge to Arden Drive. The work will improve water delivery to the hospital.
