DWM Lifts Boil Water Advisory for Northside Parkway Corridor Following Clean Sampling Results
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Department of Watershed Management has lifted the boil water advisory issued on June 13, 2025, for residential and commercial locations along the Northside Parkway corridor.
Extensive sampling has now confirmed that there was no contamination within the public water system. The Department of Watershed Management (DWM) has maintained adequate pressures throughout the system. Consequently, residents and businesses in the affected area may resume normal water usage for all purposes without the need for boiling.
DWM appreciates the community’s patience as we worked to restore service and ensure the safety of our infrastructure.
The City of Atlanta is committed to delivering safe drinking water that meets or exceeds the standards established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has been notified that this advisory has been lifted.
