Private Work Leads to Road Collapse on Shirley C. Franklin Blvd.; DWM Working on Repairs

ATLANTA – Pavement on Shirley C. Franklin Blvd. SW (formerly Central Avenue SW) between Rawson St. SW and Memorial Dr. SW collapsed due to a private contractor’s hydro excavation work on the next block that unintentionally filled an abandoned line with water, exacerbated by recent rain.
