DWM Lifts Boil Water Advisory for Nancy Creek/Northside Parkway Area Following Clean Sampling Results
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management has lifted the boil water advisory issued on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, for the Nancy Creek Road and Northside Parkway area, including the Northside Parkway corridor and nearby residential and commercial locations off I-75, Northside Parkway, and Howell Mill Road.
Extensive sampling has now confirmed that there was no contamination within the public water system. As a result, residents and businesses in the affected area can resume using water for all purposes without boiling.
We thank the community for their patience as repairs were made during the service interruption due to a valve failure.
The City of Atlanta is committed to providing safe drinking water that meets or surpasses the standards set by the U.S. EPA under the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. The Georgia EPD has been informed of the lifting of this advisory.
