Comments:

The Department of Watershed Management will repair a failed street cut at 1566 Martin Luther King Jr Drive NW between Laurel Avenue SW and Wellington Street SW on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Water service will not be affected during the duration of the work.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling near the work zone. Residents will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up.

Detour:

Traffic heading east on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW will turn right onto Laurel Avenue SW then right onto Mozley Place SW then left onto Wellington Street SW.

Traffic heading west on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW will turn left onto Wellington Street SW then right onto Mozley Place SW then right onto Laurel Avenue SW.
