Temporary Road Closure Near 676 Longleaf Dr. NE due to Sewer Main Line Repair

What: Temporary Road closure due to lateral service replacement to sewer main line

Where: Near 676 Longleaf Dr. NE between North Stratford Rd. NE and Phipps Blvd. NE

When: Tuesday, August 8, 2023, for approximately two – four weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. If businesses, schools, and places of worship are near the work zone, they will continue to be accessible.

Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will still be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Motorists traveling East on Phipps Blvd. NE will turn left onto Wieuca Rd. NE then left onto Old Ivy Rd. NE, to gain access back to North Stratford Rd. NE.
