TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Temporary Road Closure near 16 Chastain Park Ave. NW due to Sewer Main Line Replacement
What: Temporary Road closure due to service lateral replacement to sewer main
Where: Near 16 Chastain Park Ave. NW between Dudley Ln. NW and Lake Forrest Dr. NW
When: Thursday September 7, 2023, for approximately one – two weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Comments:
Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to be accessible.
Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will continue to be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.
Detour:
Motorists traveling South on Lake Forest Dr. NW will make a sharp right onto Powers Ferry Rd. NW and then a right onto Chastain Park Ave. NW to end the detour.
Motorists traveling South on Powers Ferry Rd. NW will make a sharp left onto Lake Forrest Dr. NW then a right onto W. Wieuca Rd. NW to end the detour.
