Temporary Road Closure near 629 Holmes St. NW due to Sewer Main Line Replacement Construction

What: Temporary Road closure due to sewer main replacement construction

Where: 629 Holmes St. NW between Antone St. and Northside Dr. NW

When: Monday September 11, 2023, for approximately four – six weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to be accessible.

Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will continue to be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Motorists traveling North on Northside Dr. NW will turn left onto Bellemeade Ave. NW then turn left onto Tallulah St. NW towards Holmes St. NW ending the detour.

Motorists traveling East on Antone St. NW will make a sharp left turn onto Holmes St. NW towards Leona St. NW and Tallulah St. NW ending the detour.
