Temporary Road Closure Near 696 Antone St. NW due to Sewer Main Repair

What: Temporary Road closure due to sewer main line replacement

Where: Near 696 Antone St. NW between Tallulah St. NW and Holmes St. NW

When: Wednesday, August 30, 2023, for approximately four weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to be accessible.

Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will continue to be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Motorists traveling West on Antone St. NW will turn left onto Holmes St. NW heading towards Leona St. NW turning right onto Leona St. NW towards Bellemeade Ave. NW. Turn right onto Bellemeade Ave. NW towards Northside Dr. NW to end detour.

Motorists traveling West on Antone St. NW before they get to Tallulah St. NW will turn left onto Tallulah St. NW, then turn right onto Holmes St. NW towards Leona St. NW. Turn right onto Leona St. towards Bellemeade Ave. NW. Turn right onto Bellemeade Ave. NW towards Northside Dr. NW to end detour.
