On behalf of the City of Atlanta, Department of Watershed Management (DWM), I would like to personally welcome you as our new customer. DWM is committed to providing you world class customer service.


We value each of our customers and in our effort to improve your experience, I would like to highlight some of the benefits of choosing the City of Atlanta as your water and/or wastewater utility service provider. It is important that you are aware of all of the programs available and our commitment to you.

  • Care and Conserve: Through this program, the City offers financial assistance to low-income customers who are having difficulty paying water and sewer bills. We also help these customers prevent future high bills by providing assistance with plumbing problems and with the installation of water efficiency devices.
  • Senior Discount: You may be eligible for a 30% Senior Citizen discount if you are 65 or older, with a household income of no more than $25,000 per year.
  • Toilet Rebate Program: Through our toilet rebate program, you can apply for rebates by replacing old, inefficient toilets with newer low-flow models.

I am also proud to announce DWM’s Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP). The goal of the CEIP is to position the City of Atlanta as one of the nation’s top-rated utility providers in service delivery AND customer service. The initiative will ensure that EVERY team member, in every operational sector and at every level, understands the importance of their role in the customer’s experience.
