Road Closure near 2085 McKinley Rd. NW due to Sewer Main Line Repair Construction

What: Full Road Closure due to sewer main line repair construction.

Where: McKinley Dr. NW between Howell Mill Rd. and Northside Dr. NW.

When: Tuesday, February 28, 2023, lasting approximately six weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments: Traffic control measures and signage are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents, business owners, employees, and customers will still have access to homes and businesses. Alternative parking is required for vehicles usually parked on the street. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Motorists will not be able to access Howell Mill from Northside Dr. NW. Motorists traveling south on Howell Mill Rd. NW will be redirected to turn right onto Northfleet Rd. NW towards Howell Mill Rd. NW. to end the detour. Residents on Gladstone will need to travel east Northeast Dr. NW.
