Stormwater Infrastructure Work Requires Full Road Closure at
the intersection of Beecher Street SW and Gaston Street SW
What: Full road closure at the intersection of Beecher Street SW and Gaston Street SW
Where: Beecher Street SW and Gaston Street SW
When: Wednesday, February 22, 2023, through Friday, February 24, 2023, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Comments: The Department of Watershed Management (DWM) has contracted crews to perform maintenance and upgrades to the existing stormwater infrastructure located at Beecher Street SW. Weather permitting, crews will begin milling and paving on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, through Friday, February 24, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling near the work zone. Residents will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up.
Detour:
Traveling south to Richland Road SW, follow the northbound or eastbound detour access to Cascade Avenue SW.
Traveling east to Cascade Place SW, use the southbound or westbound detour to access Cascade Avenue SW.
Traveling west, go directly to Cascade Avenue SW.
