Water Service Restored to Residents and the Majority of Businesses on Peachtree Street; Stormwater Drain Work Continues

What: DWM crews have restored water service to residents and the majority of businesses impacted by the six-inch water main break and stormwater work.

Where: 1812 Peachtree Street NW between Palisades Road NE and 25th Street NW.

When: Tuesday, February 27, 2024, and will last until repair is complete.

Comments:

Crews continued working through the day to repair a six-inch watermain break. The stormwater drain work will continue through the evening, and the three-lane closure of the northwest-bound lanes is still in effect.

Traffic control measures and signs are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents and businesses within the work zone will continue to have access to their homes, mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and avoid the area if possible.
