The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management (DWM) has contracted Ruby-Collins, Inc. to replace a 24-inch and 36-inch storm sewer line at 921 Byron Drive SW and 1527 Sylvan Road SW.

The work will resume on Monday, July 31, 2023, and continue through Monday, September 18, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling near the work zone. Residents will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up.

Detour:

Traffic heading south on Sylvan Road SW will turn right onto Deckner Avenue SW, then left onto Langston Avenue SW, then right onto Sylvan Road SW.

Traffic heading north on Sylvan Road SW will turn right onto Woodburne Drive SW, then left onto Brewer Boulevard SW, then right onto Sylvan Road SW.
