24-Hour Road Closure Near 423 Troy St. NW due to Sewer Realignment Construction
What: 24-hour road closure due to sewer realignment construction construction
Where: 423 Troy St. NW between Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW and Stafford St. NW
Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW between Mayson Turner Rd. NW and Troy St. NW
When: Starting Thursday, October 14, 2021, lasting approximately four to six weeks, weather permitting. Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Comments: Crews are performing sewer realignment construction.
Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to have access to their respective businesses. Alternative parking is necessary for motorists who normally park on the street. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.
Detour: Motorists traveling East on Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW will be routed onto Chappell Rd. NW traveling North towards Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy. NW. Turn right onto Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy. NW traveling East towards Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. NW. Turn right onto Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. NW traveling South towards Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW. Turn left onto Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW to continue traveling East.
Motorists traveling West on Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW will be routed onto Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. NW traveling North towards Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy. NW. Turn left onto Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy. NW traveling West towards Chappell St. NW. Turn left onto Chappell St. NW traveling South to Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW. Turn right onto Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW to continue traveling West.
