Road Closure on Bolton Road NW Due to Sewer Work

What: Road closure due to replacement of force main.

Where: Bolton Road NW will be closed to through traffic between Northwest Drive NW and Parrot Avenue NW.

When: Monday, June 25, 2018 – Friday, August 3, 2018 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Comments: Crews will replace a 36-inch force main from the Bolton Road Pump Station resulting in closure of the road. Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 25, 2018 and last approximately six weeks. The work hours will be 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Traffic control measures and signs will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour: Traveling southbound on Bolton Road NW turn left on Browntown Road NW then right onto James Jackson Parkway to Northwest Drive NW, make a right onto Northwest Drive then make a left back onto Bolton Road to continue south.

Traveling northbound on Bolton Road NW turn right onto Northwest Drive NW, left onto James Jackson Parkway, left onto Browntown Road NW the right turn back onto Bolton Road to continue north. Turning off of Parrott Avenue NW turn left onto Bolton Road NW, then follow the southbound detour instructions, above to continue south.
