Comments: Crews have completed the investigation of the water main leak and determined that repair is needed. One lane will remain closed between 8th Street and Peachtree Place NW until Wednesday, September 19, 2018 to protect the work site.

A specialty pipe is needed to complete the repair, which must be produced by a manufacturer.  The specialty pipe parts are currently in production. Repairs will resume after the parts are received. Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible. Updates on the repair work and road closure will be provided as necessary.
